Mark's American Cuisine has received #1 in Houston of Zagat Best Restaurant in the World. Mark's is well known for it's slow roasted duck, sesame crusted ahi tuna, or a prime sirloin of beef. Second to Mark's is Da Marco's, an Italian restaurant. It's a high end restaurant with high quality food. It seems to be pretty popular amongst the locals with a well developed palate for Italian Cuisine. Following Da Marco's is Churrascos, a Southern American Cuisine Restaurant. They have a special way of making dishes such as pan-seared snapper, salmon, lobster, Coca-Cola glazed short ribs, lamb chops, and many other delectable dishes.

If you are in Downtown or anywhere near the Galleria make sure to try out Pappas Bros. Steakhouse and/or La Table, a French cuisine with a Four Star Rating. The Museum District has a Sushi restaurant called MF Sushi, with a Unique and original atmosphere that gives the restaurant life once inside. If Sushi is not your cup of tea you should try Helen's Greek Food and Wine near the Rice Village. It's not too far from the Medical Center and you can try from a variety of Greek Soups, Dishes of Greek baked chicken sautéed in a variety of vegetables or you can even make your own Gyros.
